Police Say Woman Who Drove Onto Runway May Have Been On Drugs

Phoenix, Arizona (CNN) - Police in Phoenix say a woman, who smashed through a gate and onto the runway at Phoenix airport last night, appeared to be on drugs.
We have a Saturn that was driven by a 21-year-old female out of Mesa. Her name is Koko Nicole Anderson, 21 years of age. As she gets to this gate point, without hesitation, the vehicle immediately strikes the closed gate and causes a significant amount of damage. The vehicle then backs up and continues to hit the gate an additional time or two, until it can force entry out onto the airfield.
Police say her three-year-old son was in the car with her, but he was not hurt.
Investigators say she didn't seem to know her child was in the car.
Airport officials caught Anderson as soon as she drove onto the runway.
She got in initially because a gate was slightly open during a routine security test.
But officials say she then smashed her car through a second gate.
And their security systems worked as they're supposed to, before she got any further.
She is facing criminal charges.
