Boise Police Investigating Sexual Assault Near BSU Campus

Boise, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - Boise Police are investigating a reported sexual assault that took place late last night just south of the campus of Boise State University.
A woman reported to police today that she was walking south of University Drive near Manitou Street Sunday, Nov. 18th, between 11:00 p.m. and midnight when she was attacked by an unknown male and sexually assaulted.
The suspect is described as a light skinned male, early 20s, with short dark hair and “scruffy” facial hair. He wore dark clothing.
Boise Police detectives believe the suspect may have been startled and ran off during the attack.
Officers are asking anyone who saw anything that may have been suspicious near the intersection of S. Manitou Ave and Belmont Street last night between 11:00 p.m. and midnight to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS, or log onto, or text CRIMES or 274637, subject: Tip236. A citizen can remain anonymous. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of criminal suspects.
