A Mother Was Crushed To Lose Last Photos Of Her Son, When Her Phone Was Stolen

Elk Grove, California (CNN) - A California mother who just lost her 12-year-old son was devastated when her phone, with her last picture of him on it, was stolen.
Dianne Hill says it was taken out of her friend's car, while they were visiting her son's roadside memorial near Sacramento on Monday.
Her son, Edward, died after he was hit by a truck while crossing the street on Sunday.
An emotional Hill says she just wants the photos back.
They showed his memorial, and they showed the picture of him at the hospital the day he passed away. And pictures of his brothers and him and his brother at the memorial here.
Hill is asking whoever took it to return the phone, or at least the memory chip.
Police say that person can leave it at the police station, no questions asked.
