Tucson, Arizona (CNN) = Shoppers have turned out in droves at malls and stores across the country to take advantage of Black Friday deals.
In some places, like this Tucson, Arizona Wal-Mart, tensions grew heated in the quest for bargains.
You can see people pushing, shoving and cursing at each other.
Black Friday traditionally marks the start of the holiday shopping season, which makes up to 40-percent of a retailer's annual sales.
