Carole King Gets Star On Walk Of Fame
Los Angeles, California (CNN) Carole King is now among entertainment royalty.
The singer and songwriter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Monday. Family, friends and collaborators were on hand to celebrate her decades of contributions to the music industry. Her 1971 album "Tapestry" was a best-seller for 25 years. Hundreds of her songs have been recorded by more than one-thousand artists and at least 100 hit the top of the charts.
