Volunteers Putting The Detailed Touches On Parade Floats
Irwindale, California (CNN) Preparations for the 124th annual Rose Parade on Tuesday are in full bloom in Southern California.
Volunteers are getting the impressive floats parade-ready before showtime on New Year's Day. This year's Doctor Seuss-inspired theme is "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" The floats all feature fresh and dried flowers.. and some get creative, using ingredients like rice and seaweed. Besides the colorful floats, about two dozen marching bands from all over the country will participate in the parade. Comments ( |
