People Ride Public Transit Without Pants

Portland, Oregon (CNN) - In some cases, it may get you arrested...
But riding the Max train in Portland, Oregon without pants was actually encouraged Sunday.
Hundreds braved the cold and showed off their unmentionables for the No Pants Max Ride.
Organizers say the event was just a way to have fun.
"As long as I'm having fun that's all that matters, if someone can get a good laugh out of it or text their friend like 'oh my goodness I saw a person in their underwear, I saw hundreds of people in their underwear why not."
Portland wasn't the only city to go pants-less on Sunday.
More than 600 participated in San Francisco.
And it's estimated that a couple thousand took part in New York.
