High Speed Chase Ends In Arrest
Albuqquerque, New Mexico (CNN) - A suspect is in custody after a police chase through Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Police say the chase was triggered after a man was mistaken for an armed robber who held up a nearby restaurant. When officers arrived at the restaurant, the man took off in what turned out to be a stolen S-U-V. The suspect blew through stop signs and red lights for about 30 minutes Thursday afternoon, narrowly missing a school bus and pedestrians before giving up. He was arrested on charges of receiving or transferring a stolen motor vehicle and other alleged crimes. Another person who was in the stolen S-U-V fled the vehicle during the police pursuit and is still on the loose. Comments ( |
