Casey Anthony Filing Bankruptcy

By Paul Johnson

Phoenix, Arizona (CNN) - Casey Anthony wants to make a fresh start-- financially.
The 26-year-old filed for chapter seven bankruptcy on Friday, the same day an appeals court threw out two of her four convictions for lying to police.
Two years ago, Anthony was acquitted of killing her daughter Caylee.
She was convicted, however, for lying to authorities during the investigation of Caylee's disappearance.
Chapter seven bankruptcy would allow Anthony to clear her debt and have a fresh financial slate.
Court documents show that she currently owes nearly 800-thousand dollars to about 80 creditors.
Among the people listed in those filings is Jose Baez, Anthony's lead defense attorney during her trial.
He's seeking half-a-million-dollars.
Anthony spoke to T-V reporter in Phoenix, Adam Longo.
