Portland Oregon ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Federal Officials in Portland Oregon are searching for a 36 year old former math teacher who was convicted Tuesday of possessing child pornography. Logan Storm, a former Beaverton middle school teacher removed his bracelet sometime around 8am this morning. That’s the time the U.S. attorney’s office in Portland was alerted that the bracelet had been removed. The teacher had been convicted yesterday of one count of possession of child pornography. Storm didn’t comment on the verdict which was unanimous following three hours of deliberations and a trial that lasted for five days.
Storm ran once before when his computer was seized. Reports say he flew to London and then reportedly traveled to Ireland, Fance and Amsterdam. In an e-mailed resignation he said he was quitting because of international legal trouble. Attorneys for Storm convinced him to return. He was arrested in February 2011 when he arrived at the Portland International Airport.
