Physician Assistant Pleads "Not Guilty" To Kidnapping, Rape Charges

By Paul Johnson

Chico, California (CNN) - A physician's assistant in California is accused of two kidnappings and a rape.
Lonnie Scott Keith pleaded not guilty to felony charges from two incidents in September and October.
And police say they're investigating whether he's the suspect in at least nine other assaults of college-age women near Chicago State University dating back a year and a half.
Keith was arrested over the weekend, was arraigned this week and is being held on three-point-two million dollars bail.
The preliminary hearing for the married father of four is set for February 13th.
