12-Year-Old Arrested After Threatening To Shoot Up His School
Poway, California (CNN) - California authorities have a 12-year-old in custody after they say the student threatened a mass shooting at school.
Counselors will be on hand here at Twin Peaks Middle School in Poway today (Monday). It's about 30 minutes from San Diego. Authorities say Friday night, the 7th grader sent a school administrator a threatening e-mail... saying a teacher and several students would be shot on Monday. Authorities say the e-mail made also reference to three-thousand rounds of ammunition and numerous firearms.
