Coast Guard Searches For Four Missing People Off Coast Of San Francisco

By Paul Johnson

San Francisco California (CNN) - The Coast Guard says it's searching for two adults and two young children missing off the coast of San Francisco.
The Guard says the 29-foot sailboat was about 65 miles off the coast from Pillar Point when someone onboard radioed in a distress call.
They said the boat was taking on water and the ship's electronics were failing.
About an hour later, they said they were abandoning the boat, and the Coast Guard lost communication with them.
The Guard says they might have boarded a life raft.
Several aircraft and boats have joined in the search for them.
