Accidental Death Investigation Turns Into Homicide In Marsing

Marsing, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - The Idaho State Police and the Owyhee County Sheriff’s Office say what started out as an accidental death investigation has turned into a possible homicide. The investigation stems from an incident that occurred near Marsing on April 4, 2012. Trina Bibbey, 35, died at her residence. Officers responding to the scene initially believed her death was accidental. However, evidence collected during the investigation lead detectives from Owyhee County Sheriff’s office and the Idaho State Police to believe that Bibbey was a victim of homicide. Investigators assigned to the case have developed a number of leads in the case and are working with the Owyhee County Prosecuting Attorney’s office and other agencies to follow-up on new leads and evidence.
