Caldwell Man Dies After Vehicle He Was Working On, Ran Over Him
Caldwell, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - A 71 year old Caldwell man died after the vehicle he was trying to start, ending up pinning him against the curb. Idaho State Police say the accident happened on Homedale Road in Caldwell. Roy Welsh, 71 of Caldwell was driving a 1979 Dodge Ram Charger. Welsh was parked westbound on Homedale road, hooking up a jump box in an attempt to get his vehicle started. The vehicle started while in gear, leapt forward pinning the victim. The vehicle traveled across the grass in front of Vallivue High School, coming to rest in front of the school, after striking a tree.
