Inglewood, California (CNN) - Losing a loved one an emotional experience.
But imagine if a funeral home mixed-up your wife with another woman's body.
That's exactly what happened to Evan Davidson.
He says the woman in the casket at the first funeral didn't even look like his wife...seen here in family pictures
But the morticians at the Simpson Family Mortuary in Inglewood, California assured him that was due to the embalming process.
Then a few days after the funeral, Davidson got another call from the mortuary asking him to come and identify another body.
Turns out the second time ...it really was his wife.
You know instead of trying to get over it, you go right back into it. I wasn't sleeping as it was. Now here we go again.
Davidson has hired an attorney.
He wants an investigation into what happened.
