Fire At Power Station In Washington State Proves To Be Quite The Spectacle

Ravensdale, Washington (CNN) - A fire at a power station in the Seattle area proved to be quite a spectacle.
It exploded, sending up a big fireball -- and thick, black smoke could be seen for miles.
Fire officials determined the smoke was not toxic.
Firefighters decided to let the fire burn, and Boeing brought in a special rig to pour foam on the flames.
No one was hurt -- and there were no power disruptions.
The facility sends power to millions of homes and businesses from Washington to California.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
