Rojo The Llama Is A Hit At The Providence Children's Center In Oregon

By Paul Johnson

Portland, Oregon (CNN) - He's not what you'd expect to see at a children center but a llama named Rojo is quite popular.
A social worker at the providence children's center says he brings something special to the kids.
"And I think Rojo has the sense of how special our kids are, and he loves them. He just brings such a smile to absolutely everybody that's there, so it's just a very contagious sprit to have Rojo around, because it's so unusual. It's very cool. He's grown up to be an amazing, huggable, llama and just somebody at the fair said you should get him certified for therapy…surrounded by children, hanging all over him.
Rojo's handler Lori Gregory says llamas have an amazing ability to create a therapeutic response in people.
