Mountain Lion Captured In Los Angeles Neighborhood

By Paul Johnson

Los Angeles, California (CNN) - A mountain lion was captured in a Los Angeles neighborhood Thursday.
A homeowner spotted the animal jumping over a fence and into his backyard.
He says the lion came up to his window before hiding under the patio.
That's where animal control officers tranquilized him and then hauled him off.
It took three tranquilizer darts to take down the 120-pound animal.
Officials say he will be given a health assessment and then released back in the wild.
