Billings, Montana (CNN) - Three sets of twins made for a busy morning at a hospital in Billings, Montana.
These six babies were born within five hours of each other.
The births started at Saint Vincent hospital just before eight o'clock, Tuesday morning, and the last of the six babies was born just after noon.
Mercedes and Lexus Muzzana came first.
Then, it was Leander and Aiden Gatlin.
Jamie and Nathan Mertz weren't far behind.
Hospital staff delivered each set of fraternal twins by cesarean section.
"I've been a labor and delivery nurse since 1982, and I've been at Saint Vincent's for 18 years now, and this is the first time I've had this many twins in that short a period of time. I did work at one time in a hospital that did 4,000 deliveries a year, so you would think you would see it there, if you would see it."
