Father Pleads Guilty In Abuse Of Girl Who Died

Phoenix, Arizona ( CNN) - A phoenix father pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges in connection with his daughter's death.
10-year-old ame deal died in july 2011 after she was locked in a footlocker as punishment.
David deal pleaded guilty to an attempted child abuse charge and possession of marijuana, according to court officials.
Deal faces up to 16 years in prison when he is sentenced in June.
Other family members also face charges in the child's death, including her aunt and cousins.
