Washington County, Utah (CNN) - A compound built for polygamous sect leader Warren Jeffs is going up for auction Thursday.
Money from the sale of the southern Utah property will go towards paying a judgment against Jeffs.
The head prophet of the fundamentalist church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints is serving a life sentence in texas on convictions of sexually assaulting two underage girls.
Former f-l-d-s member William Jessop was awarded a 30-million dollar default judgment in a lawsuit, alleging jeffs destroyed his excavating business.
Jessop said last month if he wins the bid on the property, he will tear down its concrete walls and let the public see inside.
"99 percent of the community has never seen the inner workings of those walls."
The property sits on about six acres and includes a mansion, homes, a former schoolhouse and a food storage building.
Property records estimate its market value to be two-point-six-million dollars.
