Honolulu, Hawaii (CNN) - A bomb threat in Hawaii brought much of downtown Honolulu to a stand-still today
The threat led police to a suspicious package near the courthouse.
Within four hours, authorities had x-rayed the bag, doused it with a water cannon and determined there were no explosives inside.
Someone told the Honolulu police department that, at noon on Thursday, a bomb would detonate at the courthouse.
Police closed several downtown streets and notified nearby schools and businesses.
