5 Yr Old Tweets About 'Angry Birds' From Fire Dept Account

By Paul Johnson

Forest Grove, Oregon (CNN) - The apparent hacker who took over a fire department's twitter account has been caught.
...and it turns out the suspect is only five years old.
John Nemeyer didn't exactly "hack" the account.
He was using his dad's phone to play "angry birds."
His dad just happens to be the public information officer with the fire department in forest grove, oregon.
When five-year-old john accidentally enabled the game to send tweets, the fire department's twitter account started talking all about "angry birds."
The automatic updates sent tweets to the department's 18-hundred followers, complete with an "angry birds" hash tag.
Some unintentional free marketing for the game was a bit of an embarrassment for the department -- especially john's father, David.
"A lot of negative stuff in the news right now. This was just a simple, innocent 5-year-old boy blowing up pig death stars."
The tweets were removed and replaced with an explanation.
The little mix-up comes during the same week a real hacker broke into the associated press' twitter account, falsely reporting explosions at the white house.
