Barefoot Bandit Pleads Guilty To Burglary

By Paul Johnson

Mount Vernon, Washington (CNN) - On Wednesday, Colton Harris-Moore pleaded guilty to burglary for breaking into an airplane hangar in Washington State three years ago.
It was part of an international crime spree of stolen cars, boats and planes, and a two-year run from police.
As part of a plea deal, Harris-Moore was sentenced to three months in jail, but was given credit for time served.
He is currently serving a six-and-a-half year sentence at a Washington state prison, as part of another plea deal that included federal charges.
Harris-Moore got the nickname the barefoot bandit because police found his bare footprints at some of the crime scenes.
