Charlie Brown Voice Actor Sentenced

By Paul Johnson

San Diego, California (CNN) - The man who voiced Charlie Brown in several peanuts cartoons has been sentenced to at least eight months in rehab.
It's Peter Robbins' punishment for threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend and the doctor who performed her breast enhancement surgery.
Robbins also pleaded guilty to stalking the doctor.
He wanted a refund for his ex-girlfriend's surgery because the two of them had gotten into a fight.
During sentencing Wednesday, the judge used one of Charlie Brown's famous lines.
Judge: If you adhere to those terms, you won't go to prison. Don't be a blockhead.
Robbins: I realize that this is just the first step toward becoming the fun-loving, respectful person I was and hope to become again.
In addition to rehab, Robbins also has to serve five years probation.
