Man’s Body Found in Car Submerged in Salmon River
BOISE, Idaho ( KBOI-TV ) — A man's body was found in a car that went off the road and into the Salmon River in central Idaho.
Valley County officials say the car was spotted shortly before noon Wednesday nearly submerged in the river in a rural area east of McCall.
Officials on Thursday identified the victim as 74-year-old Pat Donica of McCall.
Deputies have not determined when the crash occurred or what caused it, but foul play is not suspected.
The Idaho State Police and Valley County authorities are investigating.
