San Francisco, California (CNN) - A buyer paid top dollar for an eight-by-12 slab of concrete in San Francisco.
According to the San Francisco chronicle, someone paid 82-thousand dollars for a parking spot in a condo building.
The space -- which was on the market for two weeks -- is in the trendy south beach area and a mere block from A.T and T. Park.
The new owner, who did not want to be interviewed, has a deed for the land and paid cash.
It was sold last week, and a Porsche s-u-v was parked there Thursday.
The real estate agent who sold the space says he sold another spot in the same building for $95.000 a few years ago.
