State Ordered To Release Over 9,000 Prison Inmates

Sacramento, California (CNN) - By the end of the year, thousands of state prisoners in California could be walking the streets.
This, after three federal judges ordered Governor Jerry Brown to immediately release them.
The court order says if the governor doesn't reduce the prison population, he will be held in contempt of court.
