Boise Man Faces Rape And Kidnapping Charges

Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Boise Police say shortly after 4 this morning, a detective from the Police Special Victims Unit and a Victim-Witness Coordinator responded with patrol officers to a reported rape that had just occurred. Upon further investigation, police officers say they found evidence the suspect had sexual contact with the woman against her will and prevented her from leaving the Boise residence where the crime reportedly occurred. Police say they arrested Jason L. Burniston 31, of Boise charging him with Rape and 2nd Degree Kidnapping. According to the police, the suspect and the victim are acquainted.
