Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Boise Fire responded to a report of a structure fire on the 300 block of East 39th Street early this morning, July 3rd, at approximately 1:45 a.m. Fire crews reported seeing smoke from the roof of a wood framed fourplex building. Fire crews say the building was originally a barn, converted into the fourplex apartments. The building's construction presented a challenge to responding crews who quickly extinguished the fire. Investigators believe the fire may have started in the attic area near an electrical pannel, although an exact cause of the fire is still under investigation. No one was seriously injured during the fire that caused extensive damage to the building. One victim received treatment at the scene for smoke inhalation and one Boise Firefighter was treated at a local hospital when he began to feel ill. The Firefighter was later released from the hospital after treatment.
