Eloy, Arizona (CNN) - Severe weather causes more flash flooding in Arizona.
As drivers braved the flood waters in Eloy, some vehicles managed to get through the muddy water.
Others did not.
Over two days of heavy rain, some areas of Arizona saw nearly two inches of rainfall.
Scottsdale and cave creek saw well over one-and-a-half inches.
The rainfall has also helped cool off Maricopa county.
In the heart of summer, temperatures were only expected to reach 99 degrees in downtown Phoenix.
