Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Talk about being in the right place at the right time. While a Boise Police officer sat in his marked patrol car working on a report in the area of North 17th and West State Streets Friday afternoon, August 9th, a employee of a nearby store told the officer a burglary had just occurred at the store. The woman said a man had taken items and left the store without paying. As the clerk was describing the suspect to the officer, she was the suspect walk into another store just across the street. The officer went into the store and located the suspect. Justin Dee Davis, 51, no permanent address, was found to be carrying jewelry items reportedly taken from the first store as well as an alcoholic beverage that appeared to have just been taken from the second store. Later a records check revealed the suspect also had three outstanding warrants for his arrest. Those were for failing to appear in court of previous misdemeanor charges. In all, Davis was charged with 2 counts of burglary and three warrants for Failure to appear.
