Las Vegas, Nevada (CNN) - Heavy rains turned part of the Nevada desert into a river Sunday.
This is what it looked like in Las Vegas.
Rising water covered roads -- stalled cars and stranded drivers.
Las Vegas fire and rescue says it received 18 swift water rescue calls.
And several roads had to be shut down.
More rain is in the forecast -- as moisture from tropical depression Ivo moves across the area.
A flash flood watch is in effect through Monday evening.
