A minor earthquake shook parts of southwestern Montana.
The 4.6 quake was reported around 8:30.
It was centered about 35 miles east of Lima and 40 miles west of West Yellowstone.
Residents from as far away as Helena felt the quake.
People in Ashton and St. Anthony in Idaho and in Jackson, Wyoming reported feeling the quake in a survey on the U.S.G.S. website.
The national weather service said no damage was initially reported.
