TOOELE, Utah (AP) _ A state archaeologist says a human skull
found in an attic probably belonged to an American Indian woman in
her twenties.

The skull with hair and flesh still attached was found by a
roofing crew working on a house last month.

Ron Rood with the Division of State History examined the skull.
He says the shape of the skull and grit on the teeth are consistent
with the diet of American Indians. He speculates that the skull had
once been buried.

Rood says a laboratory in Florida is trying to determine when
the woman died.
