Strong Winds Knocks Train Cars Over

By Paul Johnson

Austin, Montana (CNN) - Investigators think a train in Montana may have been derailed by wind.
Several of the containers were scattered near the tracks where part of a train derailed.
Officials say the preliminary investigation suggests high winds caused some of the cars to derail as the train moved through a curve.
Wind gusts of up to 75 miles per hour were reported in the area at the time -- with sustained winds around 45 miles per hour.
Most of the toppled containers were believed to have been empty.
