By Paul Johnson

Santaquin, Utah (CNN) - Police in Utah have caught a man suspected of killing a police deputy and wounding another.
Authorities say the suspect ambushed Sergeant Cory Wride, fatally shooting him in the head.
A second deputy pursued the suspect and was also shot in the head.
That deputy was rushed to the hospital and is expected to recover.
Police say the suspect then tried to high-jack a vehicle.
Later he was critically wounded when taken into custody in a neighboring county.
Officials are now working to investigate multiple crime scenes across two counties.
We're trying to get our arms around all of this. We've got four scenes spread across fifty miles, multiple agencies and two counties involved. Preliminarily, we know what happened, as I gave you the details... that there were four different events across these two counties and that there were shots fired in all four places by the suspect. And of course the two of those in Utah County ended up with the death of one of our deputies and the wounding of a second.
The Utah county deputy that was killed was a 19-year veteran.
He leaves behind a wife and five kids.
