Honolulu, Hawaii (CNN) - A good Samaritan is relieved to have her car back after it was stolen as she did a good deed.
Jennifer Jones says she was on her way home Sunday night when the s-u-v in front of her suddenly crashed into a median.
She jumped out of her own blue Miata to help an injured woman in the passenger seat of the SUV.
Jones say two other men were also in the SUV and one of them stole her car.
"He just kind of backed away looking at me, but backed away this way and then all of a sudden my brake lights went on and burned rubber and screeched off. It happened so fast and I'm sitting there trying to attend to her and stop her bleeding and it took a minute to register that this man just stole my car."
Jones tracked down her car by using her find my iPhone app to locate her phone that was still inside the car.
Police say the SUV was also stolen.
The injured woman told Jones she was hitchhiking when the two men picked her up then pulled out a knife, resulting in a struggle that led to the crash.
One of the men was arrested.
The man who stole Jones' car has not yet been found.
