San Francisco, California (CNN) - Heavy rain is pounding the San Francisco area.
The national weather service has issued a flash flood watch for the North Bay.

There's so much rain, drivers are being warned about the threat of small landslides and flooding in low-lying areas.
Some people welcome the rain because of the state's drought.
