Menlo Park, California (CNN) - Police responded to Facebook's headquarters in Northern California to check on a threat Tuesday night.
And they determined the threat was not credible.
A police spokesman says the threat was made around seven p-m pacific time.
He did not specify the nature of the threat or how it was made.
The San Jose mercury news reported officers closed off the entrance to face book’s headquarters in Menlo Park and asked workers to stay put.
They searched the campus, found nothing suspicious and gave the all-clear.
The mercury news reports the city recently allowed face book to pay it 200-thousand dollars a year to make a police officer closely accessible to its campus.
