Arizona May Allow Tesla Sales

By Paul Johnson

Arizona (CNN) - Arizona state lawmakers are pushing a bill that would give Tesla motors the green light to sell its electric cars directly to customers ... Instead of through dealerships.
The state is vying for Tesla's new factory that the carmaker is currently developing.
The company is considering four southwestern states for its so-called Gigafactory.
The Gigafactory is Tesla's 1.6-billion dollar battery production center that the company says could eventually employ some 65-hundred workers.
Tesla has showrooms in 23 states and is explicitly allowed to sell its cars directly to consumers in four states.
That model is illegal in many others.
