One Person Killed When Pickup Topples Over Side Of Mountain In Owyhee County

Marsing, Idaho ( KBOI-TV / KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) --- Deputies say a 21-year-old woman has been killed after a vehicle rolled off a ridge in remote Owyhee County this Wednesday morning.
Officials say the woman is from the Treasure Valley.
The others in the vehicle were a 36 year old man as well as two boys, ages 5 and 8 years old. All were taken to St. Lukes with non-life threatening injuries. One boy reportedly sustained a broken wrist the other had minor injuries.
Reports say the group arrived Tuesday for a camping trip. The accident is in a very remote area and was hard to see.
The vehicle wreckage was apparently spotted by crews in the air ambulance. Officials told KBOI 2News the vehicle was driving in an area (near the Hemingway Butte trailhead) which is meant for dirt bikes and ATVs. Investigators plan to be at the scene for several hours.
The 21-year-old has not been identified.
