Contractors Arrested At Los Angeles International In Stolen Luggage Probe

Los Angeles, California (CNN) - Police conducted a raid and made dozens of arrests for luggage and cargo theft at Los Angeles international airport.
Last night's operation happened at an LAX cargo facility.
Officers served search warrants and arrested people in connection with a months-long investigation into stolen baggage.
Officials haven't provided many specifics about those thefts.
They say police hoped to recover stolen personal items and return them to their owners.
Many of the arrests were of contractors for airport service companies.
