Inmate Found Dead In Boise Woman’s Prison

Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - The Idaho Department of Correction is investigating what appears to be a suicide of an inmate who was incarcerated at the South Boise Women’s Correctional Center. According to a news release, at 11:45 am Sunday Janeal Walker 29, was found hanging in her room. She was pronounced dead this Wednesday morning at a Boise Hospital.
Walker’s criminal record includes convictions for three counts of possession of a controlled substance in Ada County. She would have been eligible for parole on November 1, 2014. Her full-term release date was October 31, 2021.
