Arrest Made In Christmas Eve Triple Homicide

Lakeside, California (CNN) - Justice for a California family...
Police say they have the man responsible killing two brothers and one of their fiancée’s just before Christmas last year.
The first two victims died following a shooting outside Macy’s in mission valley on Christmas Eve.
The last victim was found shot to death in the trunk of a car days later.
A spokesperson for the family announced the arrest during a press event.
The detectives told us an arrest had been made for all three murders. Upon hearing this news our family was overcome with emotion and relief at the same time. We ask that you please respect our privacy as we process this new information.
29-year-old Carlo Gallopa Mercado is now facing three counts of first degree murder.
Police have not released anymore details about the suspect.
