Closing Arguments In Suit Against Dodgers Over Beating Of Fan

Los Angeles, California (CNN) - A jury in a Los Angeles civil suit is deciding whether the l-a dodgers are liable in the beating of a San Francisco giants fan at a baseball game in 2011.
In closing arguments Thursday lawyers for Brian Stow argued that the Dodgers organization and former owner Frank McCourt were negligent for not providing enough security at the ballpark the day stow was attacked.
Lawyers for the Dodgers say security that day was adequate and placed the blame on the two men convicted in the beating.
The defense also suggested that stow may have antagonized his attackers.
The civil suit seeks roughly $37-million though Stow attorney has suggested doubling the amount for pain and suffering.
Stow suffered brain damage and is permanently disabled.
