By Paul Johnson

Artesia, New Mexico (CNN) - America is the last hope for some Central American women and children running from violence and gangs.
Thousands of families risk their lives, making the journey to the United States.
But now it's turned into a humanitarian crisis.
And New Mexico will provide temporary shelter for families.
On Tuesday, immigration officials gave a tour of the federal law enforcement training facility in Artesia, where the families will be housed.
Regina Ruiz reports.
