Bullet-Resistant School Doors Proposed

By Paul Johnson

Chino, California (CNN) - You've heard of bullet-resistant vests and glass.
Now a company in California is hoping its product could make the classroom safer.
It makes a door it says can help keep students and teachers safe during a school shooting.
Safer schools for America are now marketing what it calls the door shield, which is made of level-3-rated fiberglass.
The company gave a demonstration near Los Angeles on Monday.
They're offering door shields to schools for about 500 dollars each.
