200 Pound Tortoise Rescued From Sand Wildfire

Amador County, California (CNN) - A fast-moving wildfire-- couldn't catch up to a tortoise in California.
This is Abe -- a 200-pound tortoise -- that firefighters rescued Saturday from an Amador county resort.
Abe's owners were forced to leave the 20-year-old reptile behind as they fled a destructive wildfire Friday.
Much of the resort was destroyed -- but once flames from the so-called sand fire died down in the early morning hours, firefighters went back to rescue the tortoise.
